This delicious traditional dish is quite fiddly to make so it’s much better that we do it for you.

All the flavour and goodness is in the filling! We soak the burghul, cook the brown rice, fry the onions, cook the lentils & chickpeas and then mix it all together with the pine nuts, currants, balsamic & olive oil. That’s the easy bit! The onions and zucchinis are hollowed out and filled with the mixture. Then we turn our attention to the fresh tomato sauce…we blanch and skin ripe tomatoes and blend into a chunky puree finishing it off with the herbs, olive oil and balsamic. The stuffing mix is so tasty we give you some extra sitting the vegies on top and the tomato around it.

Cooking Instructions

Frozen product. Once defrosted, cook and consume within 48 hours.

Remove Lid. Cook in preheated oven 2000C for approx. 40 min.  until sizzling.
